Last night confirmed it: I need to start my own vinyl collection. Having to part with Nik's record collection is the only sad part about not living in my house anymore (that and no longer having my psychiatrist on-call in my basement at all times). He promised I could take the Hall & Oates, which I think I might be close to wearing out. I was also drunk enough last night to enjoy the late night Rod Stewart dance party. Thankfully we smartened up quickly and changed the music. This is all to say that my own record player is first on my list of purchases. I think I will trade my bike for one, steal back my copy of Mclemore Avenue, and rock out.

Mclemore Avenue is not my favourite album of theirs but it is easily one of my favourite album covers. It's almost entirely songs from Abbey Road which sometimes sounds like what the demo button would play on a Yamaha keyboard...Lennon and McCartney were big fans though so it's cool.
